We meet our tour guide for the 7 days Uganda safari at Entebbe airport (depending on flight time) and transfer to the lodge by Entebbe to relax after the flight and be ready for tomorrow’s adventures.
Overnight in Tilapia Lodge
In the morning we head over to Mabamba Swamp to look for the pre-historic looking Great Shoebill Stork. Here you go with a specialized guide in a boat on the channels of the swamp as you look for the Great Shoebill Stork. We then start the journey to Kibale Forest where we will spend the night.
Overnight Nkuruba Lodge
Your day begins with a visit to Bigodi Swamp, where you’ll enjoy a guided walk-through lush wetland, spotting diverse wildlife and vibrant bird species. Next, embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering close-up views of hippos, elephants, and abundant birdlife. In the evening, immerse yourself in local culture with a community visit, where you’ll engage with the residents, experience traditional practices, and gain insight into their way of life in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Overnight Pumba safari cottages
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic transfer to the Ishasha Sector, the remote and wildlife-rich southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, Ishasha offers a truly unique safari experience. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive across vast savannahs dotted with acacia and fig trees, keeping an eye out for lions resting in the branches, as well as herds of elephants, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species that thrive in this diverse ecosystem.
Overnight Topi Lodge
Start your day with an exciting morning safari in the lush landscapes of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you can spot diverse wildlife and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, experience the rich cultural heritage of the Batwa people, the original forest dwellers. You’ll learn about their traditional lifestyle, customs, and survival skills as they guide you through their fascinating cultural practices, offering a unique and authentic glimpse into their history and connection to the forest.
Overnight Topi Lodge
We leave the lodge after breakfast and start the drive towards Lake Mburo national park. We reach the park in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon we game-drive for view of Zebras, Topis, Warthogs, cape buffaloes and Impalas.
Overnight in Eagles Nest Mburo
Start the day early with a safari walk getting you close to nature. Visit the hyena’s den, chance to see Leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in there day break jungle life. After the safari walk you have breakfast at the lodge before setting of for Entebbe as we have reached the end of the 7 days Uganda safari. We reach Entebbe in the afternoon and you can arrange for an evening flight or add a night in Entebbe to fly the next day.
